The Kelso 10k will once again take place in the scenic grounds of Floors Castle. Approximately 9km of the course is run in the grounds of the Floors estate. The course is best described as a mixture of road and trail. Some sections are uneven and there may be some loose stones or broken patches in places. After heavy rain the ground may be soft in places.
RUNNING NUMBER:You will be issued with your race number at registration. Registration will take place at Kelso Rugby Club, Poynder Place Kelso, TD5 7EH, from 9.30 am.
FACILITIES: Changing and toilet facilities will be available at Kelso Rugby Club. Bags may be left in the rugby club at the owner's risk. There is parking space available at Kelso High School which is situated behind the rugby club.
DRINKS & REFRESHMENTS: A drinks station will be situated just before the 5km marker and bottled water shall be available at the finish. Refreshments will be available after the finish and shall be served in the rugby club on production of your number. Non runners will be able to purchase refreshments.
PRIZES: Medals for all finishers. Prizes will be awarded to the first three male and female senior runners, first three male and female runners age 40-49, first three male and female runners age 50-59 and first three male and female runners age 60+.
Kelso Crawlers 10k is a running event, and although we appreciate you may need to walk at times, please do not enter if you intend to walk the whole distance.
There is a time limit of 1 hour 30 minutes after which the course will start to be dismantled.
Please note we are unable to offer refunds.
The course is not suitable for runners pushing buggies or push chairs.
The course is not suitable for runners with dogs.
The wearing of headphones is not permitted during this race.
