Girvan Half Marathon

Starting point and registration : Hamilton Park, Girvan, South Ayrshire, KA26 9HQ

Girvan Half Marathon is run over a country route, from Girvan to Dailly & back.

The course distance is measured and has a SAL Certificate of Accuracy. 

The Girvan Half Marathon is run in accordance with the Rules and Regulations of the sport's governing body - Scottish Athletics Ltd. SAL has issued the Race Organisers with a permit to hold the race which under the Terms and Conditions stipulate that:

• Runners taking part in the Half Marathon must be over 17 years old on the day.
• The course is unsuitable for wheelchairs.
• Running with buggies or pets is not permitted.
• It is essential that the Race Organisers abide by these age requirements in order that the appropriate insurances are not compromised.

Enter online by Wednesday 6th July 2023. Late  entries will be accepted on the day if the maximum of 150 has not been reached.

No refunds will be given unless the race is cancelled.

Changing facilities including showers are available in the Hamilton Park pavili on.

There will be tea, coffee & juice available to runners and families.
