Hi,

Welcome to our new event, our Fast Friday Summer Series, all taking place from the very fast and flat Colchester Sportspark with ample free parking, toilets and refreshments available, it's an awesome location for this Summer Series.

For our 5km event you will race around 3 laps of the main cycle track at Colchester Sportspark. This event will kick off at 6:45 pm on a Friday evening. This event gives you the best chance of achieving that 5km PB. Each participant will receive a medal and we are hoping that you take part in all 3 of our events to complete the Summer Series with the next event taking place on Friday 31st May - this will be our 600m knockout challenge and then our last event will take place on Friday 28th June - inspired by Roger Bannister's sub 4 minute mile on the 6th May 1954, a 1 mile event, where you can go for the fastest mile you have ever ran. This event will have 3 different categories sub 10 minute mile, sub 8 minute mile and sub 6 minute mile.

We are very excited with all these events and looking forward to an awesome running Series.
