Craig's Events is pleased and excited to bring you this new event to Colchester. 

Hosted from the awesome facilities at Colchester Sportspark here is our 500m Knockout Challenge.

All runners will run round the track on the 500m course with the last 3 competitiors of each lap getting pulled out of the event, there will then be a 30 second recovery starting from the last finisher and we will continue losing 3 people each lap until we get down to the final 11 then it will be the last finisher on each lap until we have 3 - the next lap will then decide our third finisher with the next lap deciding our first and second place. 

Everyone will run together, male and female. Prizes will be given for 1st, 2nd and 3rd male and female and some age group category prizes. 

Having recently taken part in a similar event to this myself I throughly enjoyed the challenge and thought it would be great to bring it to Colchester for everyone to enjoy. 

With this event we are very limited to places with only 50 available, so be quick in signing up or you may miss out as 50 is our total limit of entires. If you are not familiar with the Colchester Sportspark it is a totally awesome venue recently opened situated just off the A12 in Colchester near the Colchester United Stadium offering a full hub of sporting facilities with ample free parking, please just remember to input your car registration in the main part of the sports building situated in the cafe/bar area which will be open till 10pm so after the event you can treat yourself to an alcoholic drink or any other beverage. If you do come out in the early stages there is a lovely gravel track within the grounds of the sports park that you can continue your run on or just grab a drink from the bar and continue watching and supporting the event - hopefully on a lovely summers evening.
