This 10k race is sponsored by Fisher Jones Greenwood Solicitors
and Ground Control .
The race is popular with elite athletes and fun runners alike. The course is not overly challenging – the main hill being at Queens Park near the start. Once this is over there is a pleasant downhill section and then flat, rural countryside until a gentle ascent to the finish.
This year the race will be used by Essex County as a selection event for the Southern Inter-Counties 10k Championships. A number of places has been held back for this purpose.
Please enter early as we have always sold out quickly. We will operate a wait list if the race becomes full. If you are on the wait list, it is your responsibility to monitor emails and respond to any offer of a place within the specified time - no response within the specified time will result in that place being offered to the next on the waitlist!
Strictly no headphones of any kind (except hearing aids) – we are serious about your safety and will disqualify any runner ignoring this warning. Similarly, no running with buggies or dogs please.
