Welcome to MACC Run the Runway

This is the first MACC Run the Runway in support of the 'My Name'5 DODDIE' foundation Triple Crown.

This event is a charitable fundraising oppertunity for all to run, jog, walk (at your own pace), Scotlands longest runway. You will complete a 6km (3.7 mile) out and back route.

Minimum age of entry: 8 Years old on race day (22 February 2026).

Please record on the entry form if you are a disabled athlete so that the event organizers can discuss with you suitability of the course.

All competitors will receive individual race mementos. 

The parking of vehicles for the event is available on site. Toilet facilities are provided, with soup and rolls provided post run.

Competitors must be registered and ready to take on the airfield before 11.50 for a 12.00 start.  Registration opens at 11.00.

This event is in support of the My Name'5 Doddie foundaiton which was set up after Doddie Weir's diagnosis of MND. It was Doddies wish that people go out and challenge themselves, have a laugh with their friends and raise money to help fund a cure for this terrible disease.
