2026 Dunoon 10k Coastal Road Race – Saturday 1st August 2026

We are absolutely delighted to be staging this beautiful and scenic road race once again – and we can’t wait to welcome you back to Dunoon!

Prize Money

We’re pleased to confirm that prize money will again be awarded in 2026:

Senior Prizes (Male & Female):

• 🥇 1st – £70

• 🥈 2nd – £40

• 🥉 3rd – £20

Veteran Prizes (Male & Female):

• £20 for 1st V40

• £20 for 1st V50

• £20 for 1st V60

• £20 for 1st V70

The Race

This iconic event returns as a classic, fast and flat 10k road race along the stunning coast road, heading south along the banks of the Firth of Clyde before turning and racing back to the finish. It’s a perfect opportunity to chase a PB while enjoying spectacular scenery.

The route has been officially measured by a Scottish Athletics Federation accredited measurer and will run under a Scottish Athletics permit.

Entry Details

• Entry Fee: £23

• Scottish Athletics Members: £2 discount (SA number must be entered at registration)

• Closing Date: 18th July 2026

All finishers will receive a beautiful branded technical race t-shirt and a commemorative race medal.

Race numbers will be issued on the day.
Registration opens from 09:30hrs onwards on Dunoon Pier, a 5 minute walk from start/finish line at The Boat House cafe in the West Bay.

Please note, all runners must be over the age of 15 on the day of the race.
