Organiser's Description

Yoga, Story and Sound with Cole Chance and Mark Russell

Finn's Place, Glasgow,

7pm - 9pm

Gather with Cole Chance and Mark Russell for an evening of story, sound and movement.

We'll share a beautiful myth that gently weanes its way through a slow embodied flow, then softening into Yin, and landing in a long, nourishing savasana with sound bath nectar to anchor.

This is a space to slow down, to listen, and to be held by a timeless story that's still speaking and deeply present.

No Yoga experience is necessary.  Come exactly as you are.

Meet Cole Chance

I’m Cole – a mover, a wonderer, a storyweaver, an apprentice of the human experience. My journey has taken me through addiction, across continents, and into the depths of my own psyche. Again and again, I’ve found that the most profound journey is the return, the one that leads us back home – to our bodies, our breath, and a life deeply felt.

I believe in movement as medicine, story as a bridge, and curiosity as the most profound compass. My work is an integration of the physical and the poetic – where yoga and somatics meet philosophy, neuroscience, and the mythic to help us remember who we are beneath all the layers. These offerings are an invitation to question, to soften, to expand.

Meet Mark Russell

Mark Russell is a yoga teacher with over a decade of study in the tradition of T. Krishnamacharya, under the guidance of A.G. Mohan. His teaching combines mindful movement, breathwork, and meditation to support wellbeing and self-awareness. Alongside yoga, Mark offers immersive sound bath experiences, using therapeutic sound to encourage deep relaxation and restoration. His sessions create a calm and welcoming space where participants can unwind, reconnect, and experience the soothing effects of sound and silence.
