Women & Girls: Understanding the Psychological Needs in Triathlon

23 Sep 2026

Organiser's Description

Event information

This session focuses on the specific psychological experiences and wellbeing considerations of women and girls in sport. We will introduce the key factors that influence confidence, motivation, participation, and performance across different life stages, while also touching on common barriers that can affect long‑term engagement. The webinar will offer practical guidance on how athletes, coaches, and supporters can create environments that feel safe, inclusive, and empowering. Participants will leave with a clearer understanding of how to recognise and respond to the unique mental health and mindset needs of women and girls, helping them to thrive both in training and competition.
