Windermere 'Wildswim & Walk'

*Option to park at the bottom of High Dam if prefer a smaller work . The walk to the Dam is approximatley 1km uphill on a steepish trail path, but well worth it

Join us for a relaxed wild swim and walk where we will share the history of the local area and our love of open water. This is a chance to be with like minded souls and enjoy a morning of fun.

We will be walking from the Swan Hotel car park to High Dam for a dip before walking back for a second dip in the River Leven

Plan for the experience lasting 3-6 hours in total.

You will need:- 

• Swim kit including bright swim cap and towfloat for the Dam swim (compulsory)
• Warm drink/snack for the walk
• Medication if relevant
• Water shoes for entry/exit to water
• Trail shoes for the paths
• Appropriate weather gear

Please note water temperature will be around 10 degrees so dress appropriately accordingly and note sturdy footwear for trail paths. Wetsuit/skins welcome.
