Triathlon Scotland Lochore Aquathlon (including British Triathlon Youth & Junior Super Series)

21 Jun 2020

Organiser's Description

Due to the Covid-19 outbreak and under guidance from British Triathlon and the UK Government, this event has been postponed. We hope to be able to reschedule the event to later in the year. Please bear with us while we work with our various suppliers over the next few weeks to confirm a new date. Entrants will then have the option to transfer to the rearranged date or request a refund.

Triathlon Scotland are delighted to announce a brand new Aquathlon event at Lochore Meadows Country Park! The event will form part of the 2020 British Triathlon Youth and Junior Super Series, but will also feature open participation races for Adults and TriStars, as well as a GO TRI event tailored especially for beginners to multi-sport.

Entry to the Youth and Junior Super Series event is by application only (please see information below), and will involve an exciting multi-race, multi-distance format.

Our TriStar event is open to all 9-14 year olds*, with TriStar 2s & 3s taking part in an exciting heats & finals format which will also act as the selection race to represent Scortland at the Inter Regional Championships (IRCs) and the Hetton Lyons TriStar Relays.

We are also hosting open participation events for adults (age 15+*). Take part in either a sprint distance (750m swim, 5km run) or our short, beginner-friendly GO TRI (300m swim, 1.2km run).

If you would like advice or guidance about getting ready to enter, then please get in touch, and we can guide you to a training session near you.

If you have a disability, you are also welcome!  Please talk to us so that we can help to find the best event for you to enter.
