The Croy 10k - a scenice fast road race for the summer! First Sunday of every June

This is a CHIP TIMED event with a bespoke, chunky medal for all finishers! 

Registration/Bib Collection : Croy Village Hall IV2 5PG. Sunday 1st June 7:30am-9am. 

PARKING: THE PARKING WILL BE MANAGED DUE TO LIMITED SPACE, PLEASE DO NOT JUST PARK ANYWHERE- Full parking details to be confirmed. Please check your final entrant email 3 days before event for car park instructions. Car sharing is necessary- please travel with other runners racing. This is a small village.

The Croy 10k is a Scottish Athletics approved course all on road.  The event is not a closed road race. The race begins at Croy Village Hall in Croy and runs out towards Clephanton. The route follows scenic country roads down towards Loch Flemington, before coming back up into Croy Village and finishing at Pure Bakery. Aid station with water at 5k, lively music en route!

The Croy 10k is a Scottish Athletics approved event.  Scottish Athletics has issued the Race Organisers with a permit to hold the race which under the Terms and Conditions stipulate that:

• Runners taking part in the 10k must be over 16 years old on race day.
• The course is unsuitable for wheelchairs.
• Running with buggies or pets is not permitted.
• Headphones must be bone conducting headphones.   
• 1 hour 45 mins cut-off. There will be no support on course after this, and marshalls are withdrawn at cut off times around the course to accomodate a 1 hour 45 min cut off.
• We will have an early start wave at 9:15am for those running longer than 1 hour 10 mins to receive maximum support en route and a better finish line experience!

BESPOKE Medals for every finisher.

Awards for Top 3 Males, and Top 3 Females. Awards given on GUN TIME not CHIP TIME so please align yourself accordingly at the start line. Awards for 1st in each age Category thereafter. 

Basic Free Refreshments at finish and a lot of free cake!

No bib transfers or deferrals. No refunds will be given unless the race is cancelled.

There are changing facilities & toilets at the start & finish in the hall. 

You can leave your bag at the hall. We accept no liability for belongings. 

Finish Area: Coffee vendor, water, bakery nearby and cafe nearby.
