Bespoke standout wooden medals will be given out to all finishers and prizes will be awarded to the following category winners:
Men’s 1st overall, 1st V40, 1st V50, 1st V60
Women’s 1st overall, 1st V40, 1st V50, 1st V60
Proceeds will to go to the Worcestershire Trailblazers and our chosen charity Cardiac Risk in the Young (C.R.Y)
The race venue and HQ :
Free car parking will be provided close to the race start area. Just follow the signposts and marshal instructions. Where possible please car share.
For competitor, spectator and marshal safety reasons please do not move your car from the race car park until after 12.30pm and even then follow the marshal instructions. If you must be able to move your car before 12.30pm then please inform a car parking marshal on arrival and special arrangements can be made.
The course 5 miles ish trail and country lane race covering spectacular Worcestershire countryside. Starting from within the grounds of Abberley Hall School the course follows a route that includes 4 miles trail and 1 mile open public country highway. The trail sections include woodland, ascent of Woodbury and Walsgrave Hills and a section of the famous Worcestershire Way. The road sections follow mainly very quiet single track lane, though will include the crossing of the B4202 on two occassions. The course will finish by following the Worcestershire Way route into the grounds of Abberley Hall School before finishing in front of the clock tower providing a fantastic photo backdrop!
Facilities : Toilets will be provided at the start and finish area. Due to rural location there won't be changing rooms or showers at race HQ so please come prepared.
Sustenance : There will be a water station approximately halfway along the route. To minimise plastic waste disposable cups won't be provided so please bring your own cups to refill. Cake will be offered at the finish line to refuel!
Personal health : Sport has many well publicised physical and mental health benefits though there are risks which should considered before entering into such activity. The Clock Tower Trail Race is designed to be challenging so it definitely should be considered to be a strenuous physical activity. For your own safety please only take part if you are fit enough to cope. If you have any concerns then please consult professional medical advice before taking part.
The course has steep ascents that will certainly get your heart and lungs working hard and steep descents that will require good coordination and footwear.

In keeping with our club ethos the Worcestershire Trailblazers will endeavour to make the Clock Tower Trail Race an environmentally friendly race. We propose to achieve this through our low carbon footprint medal and award design, our non plastic waste water stop, encouraging car sharing and paper free advertising/
