Organised by the Worcestershire Trailblazers - an Association of Running Clubs (ARC) Affiliated member.

Entry Fees: £13.00* – EA, ARC, WAC, SAC Affiliated / £15.00* – Unattached

Race capacity: 150 entries

Bespoke standout wooden medals will be given out to all finishers and trophies will be awarded to the following category winners:

Male 1st, 2nd and 3rd overall 

Male 1st MV40, 1st MV50, 1st MV60, 1st MV70

Female 1st, 2nd and 3rd overall 

Female 1st FV35, 1st FV45, 1st FV55, 1st FV65

Free cake and fruit for all finishers!

Proceeds will to go to the Worcestershire Trailblazers and our chosen charity Cardiac Risk in the Young (C.R.Y)


Registration and RACE NUMBER collection will take place on race day between 9.30am and 10.45am from race HQ at Abberley Hall School

The race venue and HQ : Abberley Hall School, Abberley, Worcestershire, WR6 6DD. Enter via the main gates that lead off from the A443.

Free car parking will be provided close to the race start area. Just follow the signposts and marshal instructions. Where possible please car share.

For competitor, spectator and marshal safety reasons please do not move your car from the race car park until after 12.30pm and even then follow the marshal instructions. If you must be able to move your car before 12.30pm then please inform a car parking marshal on arrival and special arrangements can be made.

The course 5 miles ish trail and country lane race covering spectacular Worcestershire countryside. Starting from within the grounds of Abberley Hall School, the course follows a route that includes approximately 4 miles trail and 1 mile open public country highway. The trail sections include woodland, ascents and descents of Woodbury and Walsgrove Hills and a section of the famous Worcestershire Way. You will see both distant and close-up views of the iconic Abberley Clock Tower! The road sections follow mainly very quiet single track lane, though will include a 10 metre section running alongside the A443 where single file running is required as well as the need to cross the B4202 on two occassions. Caution signage and marshals will be in place, though vigilance and caution is required. The course will finish by following the Worcestershire Way route into the grounds of Abberley Hall School before finishing in front of the clock tower providing a fantastic photo backdrop!

Facilities : Toilets will be provided at the start and finish area. Due to rural location there won't be changing rooms or showers at race HQ so please come prepared.

Sustenance There will be a water station approximately halfway along the route. Limited disposable cups will be provided, though to minimise wastage please consider bringing your own cups to refill. Cake and fruit will be offered at the finish line to refuel!

Personal health : Sport has many well publicised physical and mental health benefits though there are risks which should considered before entering into such activity. The Clock Tower Trail Race is designed to be challenging, so it definitely should be considered to be a strenuous physical activity. For your own safety please only take part if you are fit enough to cope. If you have any concerns then please consult professional medical advice before taking part. 

The course has steep ascents that will certainly get your heart and lungs working hard and steep descents that will require good coordination and footwear.

In keeping with our club ethos the Worcestershire Trailblazers will endeavour to make the Clock Tower Trail Race an environmentally friendly race. We propose to achieve this through our low carbon footprint medal and award design, our non plastic waste water stop, encouraging car sharing and paper free advertising.
