Organiser's Description

Organised by Pewsey Vale Running Club

This a challenging, muti-terrain course of approximately 12 miles with a gentle start across fields.  It then gets serious with several climbs, a sting in the tail and glorious views

Due to increased road traffic and safety concerns we have taken the decison to change the route to avoid road sections and road crosssings. The race is almost entirely offroad.  This has meant some changes including :

  • A New HQ   - NO PARKING at the HQ you must use race signed car parks around the village
  • A new earlier start time of 10:00
  • Very limited changing facilities and no showers, poratloos at HQ
  • Like many races we will be cupless, bring your own cups for the 3 water stations

Do not worry, the new route is as challenging as ever and the views are still glorious

RUNNERS MUST :

  • BEHAVE IN A SAFE MANNER
  • ANY FORM OF HEADPHONE IS PROHIBITED - YOU WILL BE DISQUALIFIED
  • IF INJURED INFORM A MARSHAL
  • IF YOU SEE ANOTHER RUNNER IN TROUBLE TELL A MARSHAL

This is our main charity fund raising event.  Over the years PVRC/you the runners have raised and donated OVER £90,000 to local and national charities
