NUTS SUMMER TRAIL RACE - BALBIRNIE on SUNDAY 17th MAY 2026 - RACE STARTS AT 11:00am

ALL ABILITIES WELCOME - A NOVICE FRIENDLY EVENT!

The race distance will be between 4 & 4.5 miles held on the paths and trails in the beautiful woodlands of Balbirnie Park, Markinch. We've got a cracking new route running amongst the extensive collection of  beautiful and unusual rhododendrons and 60 species of trees.

All finishers will receive a RACE MEDAL or MEMENTO 

Prizes - As well as first 3 Overall Male & Female we also have prizes for 1st Male & Female in the following age categories - Over 40, Over 50, Over 60 & Over 70. 

Spot Prizes - To be won but you'll need to be there to win one!

PLEASE NOTE: Strictly NO PARKING within Balbirnie Park. Car parking is available in the car park just south of the hall at the primary school and in the surrounding streets.

We rely on the goodwill of the local community to put on these events so please help us by sticking to the rules.

PRE-ENTRY ONLY

Sorry we do not offer refunds or deferrals but we do allow free race entry transfers up until 7 days before the race. All transfer details should be arranged between the runners involved before notifying the Race Organiser of any name changes.

Under NO circumstances whatsoever should you run with another person's bib number. 

BEFORE ENTERING: Occasionally we may have to alter the race route and distance due to weather or forestry work. If any of the races are cancelled due to severe weather conditions or any other unforeseen circumstances then we will reschedule that race to a later date.

Our events are insured and permitted by the Governing Body Association of Running Clubs and are held Under ARC Rules.
