Sound for Wellbeing with Nitya Mohan

Mantras, Music & Meditation

Workshop Overview:

This workshop series on Sound, Music & Mantras as a modality of health and integrated wellbeing is based on ancient teachings and wisdom, drawing from classical texts on yoga as well as validated scientific practices. These workshops offer unique perspectives and practices that combine traditional Yoga practices with Vedic mantras, simple sounds and music.

Sound is a timeless tool that allows us to connect with our body, breath and mind – to release stresses from the body, to deepen our breath and also work with our mind to create stable and healthy emotional patterns. Meant to be a transformative program, all areas of learning will be accompanied by theory as well as practice enabling students to integrate the wisdom into their daily life and teaching.

Open to practitioners of all ages, life stages and backgrounds - whether new to yoga or seasoned practitioners, this program is suitable for all yoga students and teachers and will offer a meaningful opportunity to work deeper on the integration of Yoga, Sound and Music. No prior Sound or Yoga experience required.
