• A brand new race, a single undulating lap, mostly on quiet country lanes. 

This new road race covers a less usual distance of four miles and forms part of the 2025 Gloucestershire AAA Road Race Series. 

The race is 4 miles long  with 260 feet of climb.  It starts and finishes at the Sharpness Sports and Social Club where there will be parking, toilets and refreshments. The course begins with a short out and back section alongside the docks before crossing Sharpness High Bridge and heading down to the village centre and round an anti clockwise loop back to the Bridge and straight into the club to finish. There all finishers will receive a hot drink and a medal. 

Anyone wishing to stay on for a roast Sunday lunch from 12 noon onwards will be welcome at the club, reservation advised on 01453 811477. 

Prizes for the first three men and women and for veterans in 5 year categories up to V80+

Entries are only via Entry Central before the end of  8th October.

Please note that we are now obliged to provide RELEVENT TO CARE medical details to the first aid provider before the race so please answer this question on the entry form carefully and if your circumstances change then let us know.

Refunds can be made less a charge of around £2 but places may be exchanged free of charge up to 20.00 on entry closing day. In both cases contact Dursley Running Club directly by email with  your name, and for an exchange, the full details of the new runner.
