This session will provide an accessible overview of Relative Energy Deficiency in Sport (RED‑S), why it happens, and how to recognise the signs early. Expect discussion on the impacts on health, hormones, mood, and performance, along with supportive approaches for maintaining adequate energy availability. It will also highlight practical steps athletes and coaches can take to prevent RED‑S and promote sustainable training.
