Run through the beautiful Oxfordshire countryside
Following the success of our trio of races in 2025, we are very pleased to announce that the Oxford Greenbelt will be running again in 2026, taking place a little later in the year, on Saturday 26 September.
We will again be putting on three races:
- 10k (16 yrs and above)
- 3k (12 yrs and above)
- 1k (all ages)
There is an Early Bird Entry for the 10k and 3k until 31st August
- 10k (£15 then £20)
- 3k (£8 then £10)
The 1k is a flat fee of £2.50 (to cover the cost of a run number and medal)
This year's event will again be hosted at Harcourt Hill (formerly Brookes Sport), Oxford OX2 9AT - home of the Harcourt Hill Parkrun. Ample free parking is available on site.
The 10k is a predominantly off-road and undulating course, taking in a short section of the Oxford Greenbelt Way, a beautiful long-distance route encircling historic Oxford. After a summer break, your fresh legs will be raring to go and reach those high points on the route; rewarding you with views across open countryside to Oxford’s world-famous dreaming spires.
The 3k is made up of the start section and end section of the 10k.
The 1k fun run is one circuit of the main Harcourt Hill field.
We welcome runners of all abilities. If you are looking for an extra challenge you could 'double-up' that morning, with the Harcourt Hill parkrun at 9am, followed by our 10k, 3k or 1k from 11am!
No plastic cups or bottles will be used this year. Water will be available at the start and around halfway on the route. Entrants should bring their own refillable water bottles. Supporters can enjoy home-made goodies and drinks from the pop-up café at the race HQ.
Please note that no dogs are permitted on the run but well-behaved pups are welcome to spectate on lead.
Entry fee includes a medal for all participants. There will be prizes for the winners in the male and female categories of all races.
