Run 10km through the beautiful Oxford countryside
The Oxford Greenbelt 10k, Saturday 4th May 2019, 11.00am
Following our highly successful first two events in 2017 and 2018, we are pleased to be staging the third Oxford Greenbelt 10k run. Our previous participants tell us we are one of the friendliest 10km events around! This year, as last, proceeds are going towards the contingent of 36 young people representing Oxfordshire at the 2019 World Scout Jamboree in West Virginia.
This year, race HQ and start is at Youlbury Scout Activity Centre, OX1 5HD.
It's a predominantly off-road and undulating course, taking in a short section of the Oxford Greenbelt Way, a beautiful long-distance route encircling historic Oxford. By May, the course will be bursting with new life and looking its spring-best! Take a look at the route HERE

Supporters can enjoy a well-stocked cafe serving drinks and home-made treats throughout the event. Hopefully, they'll leave enough for the runners at the end!
We hope our runners, walkers and joggers will both enjoy the challenge of the distance and take time to appreciate this part of Oxford’s greenbelt. From high points on the route, they will gaze down over open countryside to Oxford’s world-famous dreaming spires!
Runners looking for an extra challenge could 'double-up' that morning, with the Harcourt Hill ParkRun at 9am, followed by our 10k at 11am!
Hugely popular last year, gingerbread medals will be awarded to all finishers!
Prizes for the 1st man and 1st woman across the finish line.
Online entries - at £15 - close at midnight on 30th April.
If places are still available, on the day entry will be £20.
Please note that Youlbury and Oxford Brookes University (Harcourt Hill) both operate a no-dogs policy. No dogs are permitted on the event site or on the run, thank you.
