Our 3km OCR Time Trials take place between May and October

They are open to everyone 10 yrs + both competitive and non-competitive fun runners

The first time trial date is Saturday 4th May.

Please arrive at 11.15am for an 11.30am briefing.

We will aim for the first runners to go off around 12pm and all runners to be finished by around 2pm.

The Course 

Our 3km short course will feature 20+ awesome obstacles and will have a few technical obstacles to challenge you. It will be run on a mixture of fields, short hills, burns (aka streams) and trails.  Be prepared and dressed appropriately to get wet and muddy and have loads of fun. You will be crawling, jumping, climbing and swinging your way around.

Timing and Penalties

Note: Non competitive fun runners will not receive penalties.

Runners will be paired up with one person running the course and their partner following them around acting as a marshal/time keeper. They will then switch over. 

Obstacles will be single attempt with penalties will be in the form of a time penalty for each obstacle failure which will be added to runners total time at the end.

Our time trials are part of the 3km UK Series which is open to everyone 14 yrs +

To take part in the 3km UK OCR Series and Scottish Series and be eligible for series prizes athletes will be required to be British Obstacle Sports (BOS) member.

Entry Fees

Junior (10-17yrs) - £15.00

Adult (18 yrs+) - £25.00

By entering, you agree to the following conditions

1.     All participants must wear appropriate clothing and footwear (strictly no football boots or spikes). It is also important to bring a change of clothing and footwear for after the event as you do get wet and muddy. There are no shower facilities.

2.     Participants take part at entirely their own risk and the organisers will not be liable for any injury before, during or after the event.

3.     Participants under the age of 16 cannot enter without parent/guardian's permission.

4.     Entry Fees are non-refundable and cannot be transferred to another race date.

5.     There will be a £5 fee for entry transfers to another person.

6.     By entering, participants declare that they are physically fit and have sufficiently trained for this event and waive and renounce any rights and claims for damages they may have against Fit Body Farm Ltd or OCR Ayrshire Ltd.

7.     Adverse weather conditions on the day may cause the race to be rescheduled.

8.     Photographs and filming maybe be done at this event and by entering you consent to this and their use by Fit Body Farm and their partners.
