The Moray Marathon

Starting point and registration : Morriston Track, Morriston Playing Fields, Haugh Road, Elgin, IV30 1AW

The Moray Marathon is a Scottish Athletics approved, qualifying marathon course all on road.  The event is not a closed road race.  

The Moray Marathon is a Scottish Athletics approved event.  Scottish Athletics has issued the Race Organisers with a permit to hold the race which under the Terms and Conditions stipulate that:

• Runners taking part in the Marathon must be over 18 years old on race day.
• The course is unsuitable for wheelchairs.
• Running with buggies or pets is not permitted.
• Headphones must be bone conducting headphones. 
• No "on the day" entries are permitted.  
• 7 hour cut-off (anyone who believes they will finish over 5 and a half hours, please email as you will be in the first wave at 7am to receive maximum support)

No bib transfers or deferrals this year.  No refunds will be given unless the race is cancelled.

There are changing facilities at the start & finish. Sport Aberdeen, Hi-Life Highland, Moray Fit Life and any Leisurelink members have access to the leisure centre facilities near the track. 

Refreshments at finish. Vendors, Running Merchandise, Spectator Friendly.
