Part of the Cateran Dirt Dash Weekend at Alyth Cyclery
Join Markus Stitz and Jack Thurston for an inspiring evening of stories, films, and conversation exploring Scotland and the world by bike. From remote Highland glens to quiet backroads and long-distance adventures, both riders bring a wealth of experience and a shared passion for slow travel and meaningful journeys.
Expect insights into route creation, the people and places they’ve encountered along the way, and the ideas that shape their work—alongside plenty of beautiful imagery and time for questions.
The evening also includes a screening of Great British Gravel Rides, a 58-minute documentary film by Markus which celebrates some of the finest gravel cycling across England, Wales, and Scotland. Whether you’re seeking a challenging ride through awe-inspiring landscapes or a more leisurely day out in the saddle, the film will inspire your next adventure.
