The Kinloss To Lossie Half is BACK!

Sunday 15th February 2026, 10am at Kinloss (bus to start line from Lossiemouth)

This is a CHIP TIMED event with an OPTION to purchase a bespoke medal at sign up! Please select the correct sign up option for you (medal/no medal)

Registration/Bib Collection :  Lossiemouth Sports & Community Centre, Coulardbank Rd, Lossiemouth IV31 6JU. PLEASE BRING PHOTO ID- no photo ID, no bib! There is no bib collection at start line. 

There is no bag drop service. Whatever you take to the start line on the bus will not come back with you, unless you are carrying it on your person. Leave the community centre ready to race :) There is a hall at the start line with toilets for waiting if the weather is bad. 

PARKING: There is some parking at the leisure centre, which will fill up quickly. Please allow time to park and walk to leisure centre. Lossiemouth East Beach Car park.  Parking also available Lossie West Beach Carpark. Please park considerately if parking on residential streets. Car sharing is recommended- please travel with other runners racing. 

The Kinloss to Lossie Half Marathon is a Scottish Athletics approved course all on road.  The event is not a closed road race. The race begins at Kinloss Baracks (bus to start line) and runs out towards Lossiemouth. The route follows a scenic route, and along the coast towards Lossie before turning right off the coastal road and finishing on the outskirts of Lossie at the medical centre, a short walk from the community centre. 

The Kinloss to Lossie Half is a Scottish Athletics approved event.  Scottish Athletics has issued the Race Organisers with a permit to hold the race which under the Terms and Conditions stipulate that:

• Runners taking part in the race must be over 18 years old on race day.
• Running with buggies or pets is not permitted.
• Headphones must be bone conducting headphones. Anyone seen with in ear headphones will be disqualified.  
• 3 hour cut-off. There will be no support on course after 1pm, and marshalls are withdrawn at cut off times around the course to accomodate a 3 hour cut off.

BESPOKE Medals available to purchase upon entry. 

Awards for Top 3 Males, and Top 3 Females. Awards given on GUN TIME not CHIP TIME so please align yourself accordingly at the start line. Awards for 1st in each age Category thereafter. 

Basic Free Refreshments at finish.

No bib transfers or deferrals, refunds. Anyone found with someone else's bib will be disqualified and both banned from future events. In the event of freak or dangerous weather, or any event beyond our control, the event date may be changed last minute by the organisers or cancelled. We will however do everything we can to resolve any unfortunate situation. 

There are changing facilities, showers & toilets back in the community centre, Lossie. Toilets at start line but limited. 

You can leave your bag at the community centre. We accept no liability for belongings. 

Finish Area: Coffee vendor, water, cakes and light refreshments in hall. Please stay around for prizegiving.
