Insch School Rainbow Run 

In partnership with Jog Scotland Insch and the Bennachie Leisure Centre

Join us for Insch School's next Rainbow Run. It's going to be even bigger and better than before! We have a new, longer route with more obstacles and more powder stations to make sure you are as colourful as possible.

Where: Bennachie Leisure Centre Pitches

Wave times: 11.30, 11.50, 12.10, 12.30, 12.50, 13.10, 13.30, 13.50

Help us continue our mission to raise some much needed funds to upgrade the playground and enable us to install a new wooden trim trail course and create a sensory nature garden. 

Run, walk, skip or hop your way round our fun course at the BLC pitches whilst getting covered in colourful powder. 

Race Information

• The race fee is £8 plus the booking fee.
• Entries are non-refundable. All money raised will go towards the refurbishment of the playground. 
• All participants must be signed up and all will be charged.
• Participants must be aged 3 or above to partcipate.
• All participants aged between 3 and 5 and not yet in school must be accompanied on the course by an adult.
• Any adult accompanying their child must sign up and pay to enter the race. If your name is not on our list then you can't run! 
• There will be no entries on the day. 
• The course is around the BLC pitches. There will be obstacles and plenty of powder to turn you into a rainbow!
• The colour powder is non-toxic and made from natural ingredients but it may stain.
• Wear old clothes, an old white school t-shirt is perfect to show up all the colours.
• All participants will be issued with a pair of sunglasses to protect their eyes.
• Post race all participants will receive a medal, water and some powder of their own to throw.

Additional Information

• The Jog Scotland Insch Picardy 5K will be held prior to the Rainbow Run. Why don't you sign up for both! Cheer on the runners as they pass the pitches and race towards the finish line. 
• Food vans will be on site and refreshments will be available in the BLC.
• The BLC will be running a barbecue which will be located by the pitches. 
• Parking will be limited so please walk to the event if you can. There will be no access to the carpark behind the BLC and parking is not permitted along Largie Road during the 5k race. 
• Registration will take place in the BLC and will open 30 mins before the start of the wave. Enter via the front door and follow the signs. You will then be able to register, collect your wristband and glasses and then exit via the backdoor to join the fun. 
• The Rainbow Run warm up and run 'rules' will begin 10 mins before the start of the wave. 
• Toilets are located within the BLC. 
• Please wear appropriate footwear as the ground may be uneven on the pitches. 
• No dogs can participate in the race. 
• There will be photographs taken during the race to capture the fun. These will be shared on the Insch School PC PTA socials. 
• Please bring some spare cash to support our PTA games stalls and tuckshop.
