HUNDRED HOUSE 10k 2026

 Following last year's successful event we are back again in the beautiful mid-Wales countryside.  It is a rewarding 10km, run on lanes starting in the Hundred House village (LD1 5RY) near Builth Wells.  The race has a nice climb to appreciate the views and the reward is a fantastic down hill to the finish!

THIS YEAR THERE WILL AGAIN BE £100 CASH PRIZES FOR EACH MAN OR WOMAN WHO SETS A NEW  COURSE RECORD.

 LAST YEAR BOTH PRIZES WERE GIVEN OUT SO COME ALONG AND HAVE A GO A WINNING AT GREAT PRIZE!    

Current best times are 32:18 (Dewi Griffiths 2025), 40:56 (Donna Morris 2025)

The race will be WA/ UKA registered so results will appear on Power of 10.

Please note we will be unable to accept requests for transfers or deferals once you have signed-up, and refunds will only be given in exceptional cases decided by the organisers eg. cancellation due to bad weather.  

The Route

The start is set on the lane out of the village right next to the Hundred House pub and the route takes you along undulating lanes around the area with magnificent views across the stunning mid-Wales scenery.   After a long downhill stretch to the finish, you will receive a race medal and be able to enjoy some post race food and refreshments by the pub.  

Parking

There is plenty of free parking by the start/finish. Please follow signs and marshals' directions.

Entry Fees

In advance :

£14.00 (UKA affiliated),   £16.00 (non-affiliated) - THIS IS A PRICE REDUCTION THIS YEAR!

On the Day:  £18.00 (affiliated), £20.00 non-affiliated) if places are still available.  Please register early to avoid disappointment). PLEASE BRING CASH ON THE DAY IF POSSIBLE. 

Advance entries will close at 7pm on Friday 26th June.

MINIMUM AGE: 15 years on day of race (under 18 requires parent/guardian consent)

Timings

8:30 - Registration to collect race numbers and on the day entries open

9:45 - Registration closes 

9:50 - Race briefing at the start

10:00 - Race starts

Prizes

Category prizes:  First three men and women; first man and woman in age categories (excluding first three runners overall) V40, V45, V50, V55, V60, V65, V70, V75.

Results

Results will be published on our website  https://builthanddistrictrc.com/hundredhouse10k/   and Facebook page  https://www.facebook.com/BuilthRunners  as soon as possible after the race is completed.

Results will be loaded to Power of 10.

Race Licence  via Welsh Athletics.  Licence Number to be advised.
