Join Markus Stitz for an evening of gravel stories from Scotland and beyond, celebrating the launch of his latest book, Gravel Rides Edinburgh, Fife & The Lothians.
Starting from his doorstep in Edinburgh, Markus will take you on a journey through Norway, Sweden, Arkansas, Nova Scotia, Morocco, Kyrgyzstan and Scotland, sharing stories from the road and the trails that have shaped his work.
Expect beautiful imagery, insights into route creation, stories of the people and places encountered along the way, and a chance to ask questions.
The evening also includes a screening of Great British Gravel Rides, a 58-minute documentary film by Markus which celebrates some of the finest gravel cycling across England, Wales, and Scotland. Whether you’re seeking a challenging ride through awe-inspiring landscapes or a more leisurely day out in the saddle, the film will inspire your next adventure.
Signed copies of Markus' books will be available to purchase on the night.
Doors open 18:30 for 19:00 talk & film screening after an interval
