You are invited to enter the Gelston 5-mile Road Race on 25 July 2023 at 19:00.
Entry fees - £6, £8 (unaffiliated)
Entries will close on 15th July 2024.
The race starts at 7 pm at Lochside Park and is part of Castle Douglas Civic Week.
The certified five-mile route winds through quiet, undulating country roads, passing through the village of Gelston, just outside Castle Douglas. After an uphill section, runners can enjoy a downhill finish - and the cheers of their supporters - at Carlingwark Loch.
This is a Scottish Athletics Permit Event run under UK Athletics rules.
