East Fife Triathlon Club's membership year is now open for the year commencing 1st November 2022.

EFT is a small, friendly triathlon club based in Cupar and St Andrews in North East Fife. Our members range from novices right up to age group champions.   Members participate in all distances from sprint, standard, half and full ironman. A wealth of knowledge and experience is given out by our trained coaches at club sessions throughout the year and shared among the club members at our very popular Grand Prix and Club Championship events. We often go to races as a group, which adds to the fun and friendly competition.

A Special Condition of Membership:

Our low membership fee is partly due to the success of our annual East Fife Triathlon, a significant, well-known event on the race calendar with an excellent reputation for the competition and the atmosphere. The Race Director relies on club members to help organise and marshall the day for it to run safely. We, therefore, ask that you make yourself available on Race Day to support your club and the 400 people that come to Cupar to race that day.   Club members certainly do the race at this event, but we ask that if you decide to run that you provide a marshal to help out in your place. The race is usually held on the second Sunday of April each year.

There are two membership categories available:

Club Standard Membership.

Adult Standard Membership (18 and up) is £18 per month (£216 pa), £16 per month (£192pa) for juniors. The first payment is to be taken on Entry Central, and the remaining charges will be paid, by standing order, to the account details included in the receipt email. If you would like to continue to pay in a single sum please pay the first on EC so and then transfer the remaining amount to the account details in the receipt.

Standard Membership is the only Membership that gives you free access to all coached and un-coached pool sessions run by the club. It also allows you to wear our kit and race under our club banner. You would also be able to participate in any pay-as-you-go training that we may put on from time to time, for example, winter turbo sessions or improvers swimming. Pay-as-you-go sessions will have an additional fee.

This year we are adding a Family Membership of £34 per month (£408 per year) for any family group (to include up to two parent's and/or guardian's and at least one junior member, aged under 18). Everyone will need to sign up, although in the questions section, only one needs to select 'Family Membership' to pay the initial fee. For the rest, please select 'Member of Family', which will not charge you but ensures that we have all necessary contact details and emergency contacts.

There are currently three pool sessions per week, but this might change according to demand. 

Monday 19:30– 21:00. Coached Session in Cupar. 

30 member maximum, first come, first served. Signing up is mandatory. 

Wednesday 19:30 – 20:15 & 2015 - 21:00. 2 x 45-minute uncoached Sessions in Cupar.

6 member maximum, first come, first served. Signing up is mandatory. 

Thursday 21:00 - 22:00. Coached Session at East Sands.

24 member maximum, first come, first served. Signing up is mandatory.

Sign-up for sessions will be via an email link sent weekly on Sunday afternoon.

Social Membership

The minimum age is 14

Social Membership is £20 for the entire year.

This must be paid in full at the time of signing up.

This Membership does not entitle you to join any swim session.   It does allow you to support our club, wear our kit and race under our club banner. You would also be able to participate in any pay-as-you-go training that we may put on from time to time, for example, winter turbo sessions or improvers swimming. Pay-as-you-go sessions will have an additional fee.
