Mulberry Bush Montessori Balfron 10K road race

An SA Permit event conducted under UK Athletics Rules

Join our event which is recognised for its commitment to reducing its environmental impact and friendly community atmosphere. It starts and finishes at Balfron Campus, takes you out on closed country roads through Balfron and into the beautiful Stirlingshire countryside on an out and back route. 

Open to runners of all abilities, aged over 15 years, it will be run under a Scottish Athletics permit.

There is an officially measured course, chip timing and winners prizes. All entrants are offered a commemorative medal, race t-shirt and refreshments on the course and at the finish line.

The race is organised by volunteers and raises funds for local causes. In 2023 funds were given to Balfron High School, Balfron Primary School and Nursery, Balfron Community Council (defibrillators) and Balfron Pathways Group.
