It's back for 2024!
This two and a half mile course starts and finishes at the Haling Dene Centre in Penkridge. It doesn’t matter if you run, jog, walk, hop, skip or push; everyone that takes part gets a medal after they’ve crossed the Finish Line.
Pre-registration has now closed, but you can still play a part by registering on the day.

Race day information:
- Race starts at 11am so please arrive at the Haling Dene before 10am to prepare, register and collect your chip and race number.
- Registration opens at 9am. Latest registration on the day is 10:15am.
- Registration pack, including numbers, will be available for collection on the day. No registration packs will be sent out in advance of the event.
- All junior runners (school year four and below) must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
- The runners' warm up takes place at 10:45am.
- Limited disabled parking available only at Haling Dene; participants are encouraged to leave their cars at home.
- Toilet facilities will be available at the Haling Dene.
- On the day entries will be limited.
- All finishers will receive a medal.
- Trophies will be awarded at the Fun Day, with male and female winners in each of these categories: Under 9s, Under 13s, Under 18s, 18 - 49 and 50+.
- The course will be fully marshalled with volunteers from across the community.
- Medical First Aid is being provided by St. John's Ambulance.
- There are two drinks stations: one on the route and another at the end. We highly recommend you consider bringing additional drinks.
- The race will both start and finish at the Hailing Dene where there will be refreshments and entertainment for runners and spectators.
