About Ayrodynamic Triathlon Club:

The charitable objects for which the club is established are to promote and encourage the sport of Triathlon and related sports such as Duathlon, Aquathon, Running, Swimming and Cycling to children and adults within the local community by providing or assisting in the provision of equipment, materials and facilities for sport.

Membership will be open to any person interested in pursuing the sport of Triathlon or any of its related disciplines. It is the policy of Ayrodynamic Triathlon Club to ensure that all participants, volunteers, coaches or parents receive equal treatment regardless of age, gender, marital status, employment status, social class, colour, race, ethnic or national origin, religious belief or disability.

Members have recently taken part in multi-sport events all over the world at all distances and have succeeded in representing the UK at age group level. Our members have also succeeded in winning national titles at various age categories and distances.

The club raises funds by hosting several events throughout the year. There are also various internal club competitions held during the year resulting in a prizegiving social event at the end of the season.

Swim Session Guidlines:

There are 2 swimming sessions at Troon pool every Monday evening from 19.30pm - 20.30pm and 20.30pm - 21.30pm. Due to the extremely high attendance figures for each session the club committee have set specific standards of swimming necessary for anyone wishing to join these particular sessions. We do not have facilities to ‘teach’ individuals how to swim. Therefore in order to ensure safety and a consistency in our coaching development all swimmers must be able to continuously swim 200 metres front crawl without swim aids.
