Forfar 10k
Sunday 16th August 2026, 11.00am
The Forfar 10k is an accurately measured, fast, flat and scenic course organised by Forfar Road Runners. Competitors must be 16 years of age or over on the date of the race.
The race has a limit of 400 runners and will be filled on a first come first served basis. The deadline for entries is 6.00pm on Friday 31st July 2026 (or earlier if the race is full). There will be no entries on the day.

- Entry fee £15 (entrant is Association of Running Clubs affiliated) or £17 (non affiliated)
- Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd &3rd male & female; 1st, 2nd & 3rd male and female V40; 1st male & female V50, V60, V70; 1st male & female junior.
- Held under ARC rules
- Finishers Bespoke Medal
Registration and Start are at the Forfar Farmington Clubhouse, Forfar, DD8 3LD.
Registration opens at 9:30am and closes at 10.30am. Runners must collect only their own race number IN PERSON. Random ID checks will be carried out. Anyone caught transferring numbers will be banned from all Forfar Road Runner events for a full year as this is against ARC Rules and can have serious implications if a runner took unwell during the event.
Start: All participants should be ready to start no later than 10:45am, they will then be escorted to the start line.
As the race takes place on public (open) roads, only bone conducting headphones are permitted.

Parking: There is car parking available a short distance from the registration and start/finish areas: East Greens carpark, Myre carpark and at Forfar Reid Hall. Runners and spectators are encouraged to use these car parks to avoid congestion around the registration and start/finish areas. Please car share where possible.
Deferrals: Entrants who can no longer make the race may be offered a deferred entry (for 1 year only) to next year's event if they notify us (using the email function on the Entry Central event sign up area) by 6.00pm Friday 31st July 2026.
