Forfar 10K - Sunday 15th August 2021 - 11am

The Forfar 10K is an accurately measured, fast, flat and scenic course organised by Forfar Road Runners. Competitors must be 16 years of age or over on the date of the race.
The race has a limit of 250 runners and will be filled on a first come first served basis. The deadline for entries is Friday 30th July (or earlier if the race is full).

- Entry fee £15 (SA affiliated) or £17 (non affiliated)
- Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd &3rd male & female, 1st, 2nd & 3rd male and female V40, 1st male & female V50, V60, V70, 1st male & female junior.
- Held under Scottish Athletics rules
- Finishers Bespoke Medal - no goody bag this year.

Registration: Opens at 9:30am and closes at 10.30am. Runners must collect only their own race number IN PERSON. Random ID checks will be carried out. Anyone caught transferring numbers will be banned from all Forfar Road Runner events for a full year as this is against Scottish Athletic Rules and can have serious implications if a runner took unwell during the event. Masks must be worn at registration and when using the toilets as these will be indoors.
START: All participants should be ready to start no later than 10:45am, they will then be escorted to the start line. The race will start in line with Scottish Government and Scottish Athletics COVID guidance at the time of the race. It is likely that this may involve starting the race in 'bubbles'. Please enter an expected finish time so that we can arrane 'bubbles' if required.
As the race takes place on public roads and to comply with Police Scotland advice - ABSOLUTELY NO HEADPHONES ARE PERMITTED, not even bone conducting ones. Anyone breaching this rule faces disqualification. Race organisers accept no responsibility for anyone ignoring this advice.
Entrants who can no longer make the race may be offered a deferred entry (for 1 year only) to next year's event if they notify us via email (use the email function on the Entry Central event sign up area) by 6pm Friday 30th July. Note: those who defered entry in 2019 will be guarenteed entry to the 2021 event.
Please note that the cut off time for this race is 1 hour 45 minutes.
