Race registration is in the Jed Thistle clubrooms right beside the car park, from 6:30am - 7:45am. Changing facilities are available in the clubrooms, and runners may leave kitbags in the changing rooms during the race.

The race will be route marked. An interactive map and a GPX file of the route are both available on the race website. We recommend trail shoes as over thirty miles of the route is off-road and several sections are usually very muddy.

A drop bag system will be in operation. Checkpoints and cut-offs are as follows:

CP2: Rhymer's Stone - 17 miles - 4hrs 30 mins (12:30pm)

Random kit checks WILL be carried out. Runners not carrying the compulsory items will incur time penalties. Runners expecting to take longer than 8 hours to complete the race MUST either carry a head torch or put one in their CP3 drop bag.

All runners will receive a tech t-shirt. All finishers will receive a race medal and goody bag.

Changing/showering facilities are available for all runners in the Jed Thistle clubrooms - please bring your own towel. Once again we will be providing FREE tea/coffee and two choices of home made vegetarian soup for all runners.

Trophies will be awarded to the first three male and female finishers, and also to the first male and female finishers in the Vet50, Vet60 and Vet70 age categories. (We haven't ever had any Vet70 females enter our race yet, but we remain optimistic...) Additionally, we will be giving out spot prizes to runners who catch our eye for whatever reason

There will be a post-race get together somewhere in the town centre - the venue will be announced before race day. All runners, relay runners, marshals, friends, family etc are very welcome so please come along and join in the celebrations.

As always, profits from the Jedburgh Three Peaks ultramarathon and relay race will be donated to various charities and local groups of our choosing. When registering and paying via EntryCentral there is also the opportunity for runners to make an additional donation to the national charity we have selected, which for 2016 is the Scottish TransGender Alliance.

Please note: Partial refund of entry fee available until Friday 9th September. No refunds after that date. No deferrals.

A word from The Management: We are LGBT friendly. We are non-binary friendly. You can enter our race as female, male or non-binary. Race Information

The race starts and finishes in Jedburgh. Event parking is in the Lothian Car Park (TD8 6JQ) just off the A68 main road through the town. Race registration is in the Jed Thistle Clubrooms right beside the car park, from 6:30am-7:45am. Changing facilities are available in the clubrooms, and runners may leave kitbags in the changing rooms during the race.

The race will be route marked. An interactive map as well as a GPX file of the route is available on the race website. We recommend trail shoes as over 30 miles of the course is off-road and several sections are usually quite muddy. The race starts at the same time as the ultramarathon and follows the same route. Relay changeovers are at the three ultra checkpoints:

Leg 1: Jedburgh - Maxton - 10 miles

Leg 2: Maxton - Rhymer's Stone - 7 miles

Leg 3: Rhymer's Stone - Maxton - 11 miles

Leg 4 Maxton - Jedburgh (Finish) - 10 miles

Please note that leg 3 is by far the toughest of the four race sections. It is the longest, and has the greatest amount of ascent and descent, going over the Three Peaks of the Eildons. Runners assigned leg 3 should take extra care to dress according to the prevailing weather conditions and should consider carrying extra layers of warm clothing and waterproof trousers.

Compulsory kit: emergency foil blanket, waterproof top or jacket, fully charged and switched on mobile phone. ALL relay runners MUST carry these items while running.

Random kit checks WILL be carried out.Runners not carrying the compulsory items will incur time penalties. Leg 4 relay runners leaving Maxton after 3:00pm MUST carry a head torch.

All team members will receive a tech t-shirt. All finishing teams will receive medals and goody bags.

Changing and showering facilities are available for all runners in the Jed Thistle clubrooms - please bring your own towel. Once again we will be providing FREE tea/coffee and two choices of homemade vegetarian soup for all runners.

Trophies will be awarded to the first female team, the first male team, the first non-binary team, the first mixed team, and the first veteran team (all 60+, any mix of genders). Additionally, we will be giving out spot prizes to teams who catch our eye for whatever reason.

Relay race is open to all runners aged 21+ on race day.

There will be a post race get together somewhere in the town centre - the venue will be announced before race day. All runners, relay runners, marshals, friends, family etc are very welcome so please come along and join the party.

As ever, profits from the Jedburgh Three Peaks ultramarathon and relay race will be donated to various charities and local groups of our choosing. When registering and paying via EntryCentral there is also the opportunity for runners to make a donation to the national charity we have selected, which for 2016 is the Scottish Transgender Alliance.

All teams MUST have motorised vehicle backup. A team MUST be a minimum of TWO and a maximum of FOUR people. We expect that most teams will be made up of four runners with each running one leg, however teams of two and three people are also permitted. Entry fee is still £68. Runners who will be doing more than one leg may choose whether to run two consecutive legs, or two separate legs with a break in between. All runners MUST 'clock in' with checkpoint marshals at the relay handover locations even if they are not actually handing over to another runner.

Please note: Partial refund of entry fee available until Friday 9th September. No refunds after that date. No deferrals.
