We’re so excited to welcome you back to the Dooker’s Dash, and this year we’ve got a whole range of events to make sure everyone can join in the fun—no matter your age or ability!

👧 Children and Young People's Races
Our younger racers will enjoy flat, accessible routes in welcoming spaces that are safe and full of energy! We’ve even created quieter, wider areas for children who prefer a bit more room to shine. It’s all about making sure every child feels confident and included.

🌊 5km - Scenic Route or Do the Double - 10km 
For those up for a challenge, the races starts at Garval Point, winds through the stunning Tarbert harbour, and finishes at the marina—a beautiful route to run, jog, or walk! Do it once for 5km or Double up and hit 10km for a flat, fast, picturesque challenge.

🎉 After the Dash – Join Us at the Bowling Club!
The fun doesn’t stop at the finish line! Head up to the Tarbert Bowling Club for an open afternoon of fun:

• Try your hand at lawn bowls
• Give pickleball or tennis a go
• Shoot some hoops at the basketball court
• Enjoy food, refreshments, music, and great company
• Male and Female 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes presented, along with our 1st Local

🏅 Race Categories, Times, Locations & Entry Fees

Warm up and get set from 10.30am - gather at the harbour marquee

• 10km Race (Ages 16–100+) - £30
• 5km Race (Ages 16–100+) - £25
• 1km Race (Ages 8–15) -  £8
• Dashing Dookers (School Age, Accessible Race) - £8
  (Flat route, straight track, low crowds, adult helpers welcome)

Warm up and get set from 12.30pm - gather at the MUGA

• 200m Race (Ages 5–7) - MUGA - £8
• Toddler Dash (0–4 years) - MUGA - £8
