DEVERON HARRIERS FESTIVAL OF RUNNING

Deveron Valley Half Marathon,10k, 5k and kids 1k fun run. 

In this multi-terrain race runners will follow the River Deveron from Turriff to Banff.

Runners of all levels will enjoy beautiful scenery and stunning views.

The half marathon will set off from Turriff with the route predominantly following a quiet road along the number 1 national cycle route. The 10k joins on along the same route at Castle Eden.

In the latter part of the run you will enter a woodland trail crossing the spectacular Bridge of Alvah then through the historic Duff House grounds passing the Ice House and Mausoleum, before finishing at the Duff House Rugby club playing pitches.

The 5k will be a trail run through the grounds of Duff house.

HALF MARATHON DETAILS

• Registration at Duff House Rugby Club Pavillion from 9am (toilets available);
• Bus leaves 10am to transport runners to Baden Powell Centre Turriff where the race briefing will take place (toilets available);
• There will be short walk to the race start line on Baden Powell Road;
• RACE START: 11am Baden Powell Road,Turriff;
• RACE FINISH: Duff House Rugby Club, AB45 3SX
• For ages 17+

• 1st £70, 2nd £40 & 3rd £25 M&F

• Registration opens 11am (toilets avaible)
• Race starts at the Rugby pavillon at 11:30 (out and back route)

• Junior fun run contained in the Rugby pitches/Duff house woods
• Starts at 13:30
