Welcome to The Trythan Triathlon Festival, delivered by Trythan Triathlon Club, and delighted to be supporting our local charity 'Kayleigh's wee stars' at this Event.

Set against the breathtaking backdrop of Knockburn Sports Loch near Banchory, this vibrant multi-sport extravaganza brings together athletes of every age and ability for a day packed with excitement. Whether you’re chasing a podium or just love being part of the action, there’s something here for everyone. And this year, we’re buzzing to welcome the Triathlon Scotland National Youth Championships 2026, taking centre stage within our Tristars and Youth race programme. It’s shaping up to be an unforgettable celebration of young talent, big smiles, and brilliant racing.
The Event is chip timed.
This is an open water event and wetsuits will be required, all entrants must be competent swimmers for the desired swim distance for the age group.
Timing and results are through Eventfull management Limited with results live on the day.

Prices
A British Triathlon Race Pass is required for participants who are not a British Triathlon Home Nation member. For this event, Race Pass costs are £2.00 (plus £0.08 service charge) for participants aged 24 and under, and £8.00 (plus £0.32 service charge) otherwise.
