Ayrodynamic  Triathlon Club’s IRVINE OPEN WATER SPRINT TRIATHLON, is a flat(ish) fast race with the Clubs famous post-race buffet. Come along and enjoy the swim, bike and run in the stunning location within Shewalton Woodlands Trust and along Ayrshire's Coast.

                  Teams of 3 will be eligible for ranking ( particpants will do one discipline each)

                  Mixed teams allowed (Open or Female)

                  Teams will be entered into “fun category”

Chip timing in a safe swim and run environment and safety cover provided by Canoe/ Kayak in the water. The cycle is on open road.

21.7km Cycle - 2 laps: ride out to the roundabout at Ayr Road and Marine Drive, before doing 2 laps of route along Marine Drive to Irvine Harbour, the turn point for lap 2 is at the roundabout at Ayr Road when back there after the 2nd lap, go straight ahead at the roundabout back to T2 at the pond.

Swim waves will be in open/female age groups determined by entry size. This will allow for each wave to space out and ensure a smooth and safe swim start for all leading into T1.

Age Category - Adult (20+), Junior (17 - 19) & Youth (15-16) Must be 15 or older on 31st December 2024

You also agree that in the event of a disciplinary or welfare incident that you are either involved in or witness, we may pass on your personal information to British Triathlon and/or the relevant Home Nation association or any relevant Authorities for the purpose of supporting any investigatory activity into that incident.

Ayrodynamic Triathlon Club reserves the right to curtail/amend or otherwise alter the race routing as local conditions prevail. In the rare case that water conditions require cancellation of the swim section, the event will take place as a duathlon only event.

Refunds will be available up to 2 weeks prior to race assuming a waiting list. Thereafter, no refund.
