Central AC ClubStart and ClubStart Minis is fun athletics training for 8-12 year olds and 5-7 year olds

This part of the club focuses on fundamental movement skills and helps children learn vital skills which they will need as they develop. Youngsters are introduced to a range of athletic events, basic skills, balance, coordination and speed sessions; the essential ABC's of all sports.

The programme is based around Athletics, but the skills acquired can be extremely beneficial to children across a wide variety of sports. The club operates in a safe, relaxed and friendly environment, allowing children to enjoy their experience, make new friends and to progress athletically. It is widely recognised that Athletic activities: running, jumping and throwing - underpin every sport.

Block Dates

The dates for this block are Tuesday 19th August 2025 to Tuesday 7th October 2025 

How much does it cost?

£36 for the 8 week block

Who is it for?

Primary school children who have an interest in athletics and want to have fun, participate, make friends and learn new and exciting skills.

When is it?

ClubStart Minis for 5 - 7  year olds -  4.30pm - 5.20pm Tuesdays 

ClubStart for 8 - 12 year olds - 5.30pm - 6.30pm Tuesdays 

Where is it?

Central AC ClubStart is based in the The Peak 5 a side pods in Stirling.

When does registration open and close?

Registration will open around 4 weeks before each block starts. Each session has a limited number of places which are allocated on a first-come first-served basis, so please register as soon as possible to guarantee a place for your child and avoid disappointment. Registration will close once all the places are filled.
