The triathlon itself will start at 9am. Swimmers will start on Bank End slioway and will be set off in batches of 10 - 15 at a time to ease congestion in and out of the transition area. Transition area will be at the Quay Car Park  Bideford.  Registration will open at approximately 7:15 am.  You will also have a chance to register the evening before the race as well.  If so, this will also be at the transition area, The Quay, Bideford.

Swim : - From Bank End Slipway to The Gig Steps

Cycle : - Towards Torrington A386 4.71 km, turn left to Weare Gifford, through village past Torrington Golf Club, At top of School Lane 10.84 km (foot down) turn right, A386 down Station Hill, 12.79 km turn left Rakeham Hill, 13.06 km turn right toward Monkleigh, At T junction 15.51 km in Monkleigh turn right, A388 Saltrens, At T junction 18.92 km turn left A368 Bideford, At far end of Bideford Quay turn right back into Transition.

Run : To Bideford Old bridge, turn left cross bridge, turn left, past Clarence Wharf carpark turn left into Ethelwynn Close, Turn right through gate onto Tarka trail turn left toward Instow. At half way mark come back to finish along same route.

The triathlon itself will start at 9am. Swimmers will start on the Bank End slipway and will be set off in batches of 10 - 15 at a time to ease conjestion in and out of the transition area. Transition area will be at Bideford Quay Public Car Park.  Registration will open at approximately 7.00am.  You will also have a chance to register the evening before the race as well.  If so, this will also be at the transition area, Bideford Quay public Car Park.

The swim will consist of a 500 mtr swim and will pass under the arches of the famous Bideford Old Bridge. Swimmers will hopefully be well supported by many cheering onlookers on the Bridge and on the banks of the river.

The 23.5 km bike route will take competitors on an undulating loop of the surrounding countryside. A few hills have been thrown in for good measure as well (it's hard not to around here). There are also places you can get down on your aero bars too.

The 5 km run route takes runners along the Tarka trail and back.
