Castle Bytham Midsummer Festival
Online entry is now open -- secure your spot today!
About the RunJoin us for a beautiful 5K through the open Lincolnshire countryside surrounding Castle Bytham. The course winds along grassy trails and rustic farm tracks, with friendly marshals stationed throughout to keep you on course and cheer you on.
Parts of the route pass through private land, made possible by our generous local landowners. We're grateful for their support in making this event possible.
Course & Accessibility
Please note the following before you register:
- The route is off-road and across uneven terrain. It is not suitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs.
- Some sections are only accessible during the event, thanks to our landowners' permission.
- If you have any accessibility questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to get in touch. We're happy to help.
Well-behaved dogs are very welcome on the course! To keep everyone safe and comfortable, please:
- Keep your dog on a short, non-retractable lead throughout the event.
- Be mindful of other runners, particularly at the start and on narrower sections.

Young Runners Welcome
We love having junior runners take part! Children under 11 are welcome, with the following requirements:
- A parent or guardian must grant permission for the child to participate.
- An accompanying adult (parent, guardian, or designated adult) must register and run alongside the child for the full race.
To register a junior runner:
- The accompanying adult registers on Entry Central.
- Add the young runner to the adult's profile.
- Enter the adult's contact details when registering the junior runner.
We'll check the adult's registration and confirm the junior's place promptly. Any short delay is just to make sure everything is in order.
