RACE DATE
The Eyemouth 5K is organised by Eyemouth and District Community trust   and will take place on

Friday 25th  August 2023 at 8pm

ENTRY FEE,  Early Bird  first 15 seniors £ 5.00 per entry , Scottish Athletics Members- £6.50 , Non member- £8.50 , No refunds will be given. Entries  online only ,late entries will only be accepted on the day if spaces are available !

And will be charged £15.00 if  space is available, and only if space is available  !

 REGISTRATION

Registration will take place at The Tavern Bar, High Street, Eyemouth, TD14 5EU

Registration opens at 6pm on the night.

Race

Numbers can be collected from the registration. 

GENERAL INFORMATION

Health and Safety and covid guidance 

Clear route maps will be posted at Registration.  The route is well signposted and marshalled by volunteers, but it is on public roads.  The safety of all is paramount and it is a condition of entry that competitors must follow the instructions of the marshals.  All runners should enter emergency contact details on the back of their number. To ensure runner safety the wearing of Headphones will be strictly prohibited.

PARKING
There is limited parking within Eyemouth Town Centre. PLEASE PARK RESPONSIBLY

CHANGING FACILITIES
There are no changing facilities. Public toilets have a 30p charge.

RACE START and Finish
 Twilight kids fun run starts at 7pm

Twilight Walk jog run starts at 8pm

the start and finishes on The Bantry, Eyemouth.

THE COURSE
The course follows public roads and footpaths also passing through a working harbour. 

Please clear the finish area as soon as you can and please do not disturb timekeepers.

REFRESHMENTS 
Water will be available at the finish of the race.

RACE PRIZES
Medals will be awarded to all finishers at the end of the race.

The Eyemouth Twilight 5K Walk ,Jog Run is organised by Active Communities Eyemouth (ACE ) and will take place on Friday 25th of  August 2023 at 8pm

ENTRY FEE    Scottish Athletics Member- £6.50 Non member- £8.50 juniors £2 under 16 .No refunds will be given. Limited entries will be accepted on the day charged at £12.00 but only if spaces are available!

Juniors must be 11 yrs and over and under 16

 REGISTRATION

Registration will take place at the Tavern Bar which is next to start and finish.

Registration opens at 6pm on the night Race Numbers can be collected from the registration

area.

There is limited parking at the co op car park There is a car park beside Eyemouth Leisure Centre PLEASE PARK RESPONSIBLY

CHANGING FACILITIES
There is no changing facilities available . Public Toilet facilities are available at  the co op car park .

The organisers accept no responsibility for loss of clothing or equipment.

The Start and finishes is on the bantry next to play park outside of Tavern Bar

THE COURSE
The course Goes along harbour road , up boat yard hill along the avenue to crossing point then follow footpath around the golf course  footpath there is junctions at stebbings rise and golf course and the car park they are all Marshalled at the harbour there is a red bridge for H&S please walk over bridge and listen to Marshall on middle pier be careful as it is a working harbour please listen to Marshall before heading back along harbour and bantry road 

Please clear at the finish area as soon as you can.

REFRESHMENTS 
Water will be  available  at the finish of the race in the Tavern in glasses as we are trying to go plastic cups or bottles free .

RACE PRIZES
Medals will be presented to all finishers as they cross the line.
