The Killearn 10k (www.killearn10k.com) is a Scottish Athletics-affiliated event, organised by members of our local community. While it’s classed as a trail run, expect a mix of tarmac, forest paths, farm tracks, and open grassland. Elevation is approximately 310ft.
Your entry fee includes our popular Killearn 10k technical t-shirt or vest (choose at sign-up). Sorry, no size/style swaps on race day.
We are delighted that our race is so popular, we love to welcome people to the village and also celebrate all of our local runners. We are supported by a team of enthusiastic Marshals and supporters on the day.
Key Details
- Race numbers: posted to your registered address – make sure you update this in Entry Central if you change address post registration.

Why No Bib Swapping?
We are often asked why we don’t allow unofficial bib swapping – here’s why:
Safety & Insurance
Your entry includes important details like your name, age, emergency contact, and medical info. If someone else runs with your bib, we won’t have the right information if they need help - and they won’t be covered by our event insurance.
Fair Play & Prizes
Results and prizes are linked to the registered runner. Swapping bibs could mean someone wins a prize they’re not entitled to, and while we are a fun run and not the Olympics, it’s not great form.
So, for everyone’s safety and to keep things fair, bib swapping is strictly not allowed. If you can’t run, we allow official transfers up to 31 March 2026 - just email the organiser via Entry Central to request a swap.
