GRANDHOLM HILLS & MORE
We are returning to the amazing cycle & pedestrian paths up and around the Diamond Bridge for a hill workout which will improve your strength, speed, power, running efficiency AND your mental resilience.
After our warm-up and actvation routine, we will get going with an 8 minute meet & retreat tempo effort on a relatively flat circuit. This will fire up your engines before diving into the main part of the session which will see you gradually wind up the level of effort as we hit the hills.
So, here's what we'll be doing:
8x45secs uphill
6x30sec uphill
4x15sec uphill
It's challenging, but manageable and we guarantee you'll feel the benefits!
We are a friendly group and always keen to help newcomers - so come along - and bring a friend.
Coaching, encouragement and good advice will be on hand throughout.
MEETING POINT
Our meeting point will be in the car park off Grandholm Crescent. Parking is also available in the surrounding area.
If you are coming from the north, turn off the Parkway into Gordon Brae. Follow Gordon Brae down the hill towards the Diamond Bridge. Turn off at the third junction on your right, just before the Bridge, into Grandholm Drive, then first left into Grandholm Crescent. Then first right into the car park.
If coming from the south, turn off St Machar Drive at the traffic lights, into Tillydrone Avenue. Follow this road until you cross the Diamond Bridge then take the first road on the left, which is Grandholm Drive. Then take first left into Grandholm Crescent, then first right into the car park.

- All participants acknowledge that a training session is physically strenuous. As such they must be medically fit to participate and take full responsibility for their own personal health and fitness. Participants are strongly advised to consult a doctor before undertaking any strenuous exercise or training programme.
