The lovely Dan from Pinnacle Adventures has kindly offered to take 4 ESC Members for a 2 day Trad course in the Peak District. The club is also subsidising this course by over 50% - £225 > £110 - and will only be available for paid members for 2026.

• Gear selection
• Placing gear on lead
• Rope management 
• Looking after a second
• Guidebook use and interpretation

Pre-requisites: to attend this course, you must:

• Be a competent trad or indoor climber

This trip will be open to ESC members only. 

Transport

Make sure you add yourself to the WhatApp group for this trip to arrange car sharing. The process for car sharing is as follows; if you can offer a lift then post on WhatsApp where you live and how many spaces you have. Costs are set by the driver and split between everyone in the car.
