The lovely Dan from Pinnacle Adventures has kindly offered to take 4 ESC Members for a 1 day intro to Trad course in the Peak District. The club is also subsidising this course by 40% - £75 > £45 - and will only be available for paid members for 2026.

On this course you will learn:

• Gear selection
• Placing gear
• The rope work of building belays
• Guidebook use and interpretation

Pre-requisites: to attend this course, you must:

• Be an independent indoor climber

Transport

Make sure you add yourself to the WhatApp group for this trip to arrange car sharing. The process for car sharing is as follows; if you can offer a lift then post on WhatsApp where you live and how many spaces you have. Costs are set by the driver and split between everyone in the car.
