The lovely Dan from Pinnacle Adventures has kindly offered to take 4 ESC Members for a 1-day intro to Trad course in the Peak District. The course is £45 for ESC members and £50 for non-members. The course has been subsidised as it is usually £75.

On this course you will learn:

• Gear selection
• Placing gear
• The rope work of building belays
• Guidebook use and interpretation

Pre-requisites: to attend this course, you must:

• You will need to be able to top rope belay indoors

Bring your own lunch and crag snacks!

Transport

Make sure you add yourself to the WhatApp group for this trip to arrange car sharing. The process for car sharing is as follows; if you can offer a lift then post on WhatsApp where you live and how many spaces you have. Costs are set by the driver and split between everyone in the car.
