SACU New Rider Assessment Knockhill (March) accepts sign-ups by application, which the organiser approves. When you've completed your application, the organiser will review it and send you a Payment Invitation if appropriate.

SACU NEW RIDER ROAD RACE TRAINING/ASSESSMENT

You should only sign up for the assessment day once you have been invited to do so by the SACU 

The New Rider Training Entry Form must be completed and brought with you to your training day, you will be required to be at Knockhill track at 9am to do the Classroom element of your training, track assessment will be at Lunchtime.

Please ensure ALL parts of the entry form are completed, most importantly your address, phone number and next of kin details. Your details have been passed on to Bill, who will arrange the Rider Assessment pack on the day. Your
licence will be issued to you by Bill once you have successfully completed your training.  Your licence will remain at 'Pending' until after you have completed your training.  In addition to the above, please see the requirements below prior to asessment day


 Bike must be track compliant as per ACU Standing
Regulations from the ACU Handbook on the SACU
website.
 Sump plug and oil filter lock wired.
 No antifreeze or other type of coolant, water only.
 Front brake lever protector must be fitted.

 Any Glass such as Headlights and indicators must be
taped to prevent splintering.
 Side and main stands must be removed.
 Rear rain light must be fitted.
 One-piece leathers and a helmet bearing an ACU
gold stamp must be used.
 An ID containing name and date of birth must be
worn.

All bikes used will be checked beforehand by a SACU
Scrutineer, a sticker will be put on bikes that conform, no
bike will be allowed on track without this sticker. Those
found to be non-compliant will be refused permission to go
on track and no refund will be given.
