Christmas Charity Trail 'The 12 Woods of Christmas'

Hosted Olios at The Generals Arms from 10:30am.

Two routes of 3.5 or 6 ish miles approx.

Money raised will be donated to Farleigh Hospices

Written narrative instructions, no mass start, no marked route and no marshalls. You can start from anytime from 10:30 am till 12:30am. You will be handed written instructions to follow, you'll be timed out then back in. Any questions then just ask, we are very happy to help!

Festive Fancy Dress optional but much appreciated.

Time to ditch the pavement and immerse yourself in the great outdoors, surrounded yourself amongst tress, sounds of nature and breath in the fresh air. You’ll tackle some footpaths and bridleways through 12 named woods in beautiful Little Baddow & Danbury in the Essex countryside.

The maximum distances for young trail runners are: Under 12 3km, U14 5km, U16 6km, U17 10km, U18 25km, U20 40km

All finishers will receive  a £3 voucher to use against purchases at Olios at the Generals Arms. Olios offer a delicious Festive lunch as well as other choices - booking in advance of the event is highly recommended. Bar snacks also available .

Please park with care to residents and other users of the pub and use the primary parking first. 

Primary parking at Little Baddow Cricket Club on Riffhams Chase CM3 4AU, a short walk across the sports field to the pub. 

Possibly at the Village Hall opposite on North Hill CM3 4TA if gate is open

Lastly at the pub to ensure space for other customers.
