Welcome to the next edition of our guided runs

This month, we heading across open moorlands and tors north west of Postbridge.

We will head out to Rowter and the second tallest standing stone in the moor, before returning via an old gunpowder factory. 

This run has a different feel and only about 50% of the route is on path. The rest is good old sheep trods.

The route is just shy of 10 miles and only 1300ft of ascent, but the ground can be tough in places. 

I have factored in a shorter route just in case the weather is grim.

Trail shoes are a must, as is a long sleeve top and waterproof as the weather can change. Please carry some snacks and water too.
