WELCOME BACK TO COUNTESSWELLS WOODS

We are returning to the amazing trails at Countesswells Woods for the first time since Storm Arwen caused devastation in 2021. The appearance of much of the area has changed beyond recognition, but it's still a fantastic place to run.

We'll make full use of the variety of terrain the Woods have to offer by putting together a session which combines some fast flat efforts with a few testing uphill climbs. 

This workout is suitable for all runners, regardless of your pace. Whether you can run 5k in 16min or 36min, you will find this beneficial.

We are a friendly group and always keen to help newcomers - so come along  - and bring a friend.

Coaching, encouragement and good advice will be on hand throughout.

There's ample free parking and our meeting point will be at a small parking area just off North Countesswells Road. There's plenty of on-street parking in the vicinity. See map for exact location.

Please arrive ready to start at 6pm. The whole session,including warm-ups/cool down and exercises, lasts one hour.
